If I’m being honest, the whole process behind my Septoplasty was a little nerve racking. Having never had surgery, I didn’t know what to expect. Dr. Sanan made the whole process simple. He didn’t overcomplicate anything. Looking back at the whole process, I’m so grateful I had Dr.Sanan as my ENT. He was straightforward and did amazing work. The recovery process takes a while, and it’s a two way street. Follow Dr. Sanans instructions to a tee and you’ll come out of recovery feeling great and so glad you followed through with the procedure.

Dr. Sanan conducted a cosmetic rhinoplasty on me a few months ago and I am absolutely in love with my results! If I could rate him more than 5 stars I would. He removed the hump on my nose and fixed my deviated septum which resulted in a more softened and natural appearance along with improved breathing. 6 weeks after my rhinoplasty,  I unfortunately broke my nose causing it to shift and become crooked. He was able to take me in for an urgent surgery and my nose was back to looking like my initial results! He was extremely helpful and attentive throughout the entire process and was always available to answer my questions. First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude for Dr. Akshay Sanan. Three months ago I underwent a septorhinoplasty procedure that completely changed my life. For more than half of my life I have been dealing with difficulty breathing due to deviated septum. My breathing issues were becoming unbearable. I had to have my deviated septum repaired back in January.  I had been nervous about the procedure for years, but Dr. Sanan put my worries to rest.  He explained the procedure, risks, and benefits and asked if my anxiety was lessened; it was!

Dr. Sanan was extremely helpful and friendly. Other reviewers claim he has a cold bedside manner, but I can say this is the opposite of my experience with him.

Regarding the surgery, it went great and my sleep and exercise have improved tremendously.

I would see him again for future surgeries and I recommend him to others.

Dr. Sanan repaired my deviated septum and I had a very good experience. He gave a detailed description of what to expect before and after surgery, thorough instructions about post-surgery care so I got the best result, and multiple post op visits to make sure that everything was healing correctly. My septum is now straight as an arrow and I can breath, sleep, and exercise much more comfortably. Would definitely recommend!

I recently had a procedure done on my face to remove a basal cell carcinoma. I met with Dr. Sanan to discuss my options for facial plastic surgery and couldn't be more happy with the results. His pre-operative consultation was very informative & thorough and I was made to feel comfortable and confident during the operation. Dr. Sanan clearly cares about his patients and the work he does and he and his team have continued to provide excellent post-operative care. I recently had surgery to correct my deviated septum with Dr. Sanan and he was amazing! During my pre-operative consultation he thoroughly answered all my questions and explained step by step what I was to expect. Although I was initially nervous for my surgery, after a conversation with Dr. Sanan I felt more comfortable and at ease. My surgery went well and I experienced no pain which was great. After the stitches and splints were removed during post-operative care, I was shocked at how drastically my breathing had improved. Overall, I had a stress-free and great experience and would recommend Dr. Sanan to everyone.

Dr Sanan did an excellent nose reconstruction for me after I had Mohs surgery to remove some skin cancer. This was my first time having any kind of procedure done on my face so I was a bit nervous. Fortunately Dr Sanan was friendly and easy to talk to and put me at ease right away. He was confident he could fairly closely put my nose back to how it looked before the Mohs and I’m happy to say he was right! The reconstruction took about 3 hours and I was awake the whole time chatting with him. I never felt anxious or concerned at any point as he kept me updated throughout the procedure. Dr. Doherty is a real sweetheart, so personable as well as so professional. He’s not happy until you’re happy. This is a physician who actually listens and never makes you feel like you’re asking a stupid question. He injected filler into my lips, and when I went for the check up that was offered and we agreed to wait for the swelling to go down and then discuss.. He was absolutely right, and when I returned after a couple of weeks, we agreed it needed tweaking which he did and did not charge. I adore my lips! He knew what he was doing. And I trust him completely.
